The Trustees have amended the Plans to provide for a Pilot Program under which the copayment for generic drugs will be reduced to $0 for all Participants and their Eligible Dependents. This applies to all generic drugs up to a 90 day supply, regardless of whether purchased at retail or mail order.
The Pilot Program is effective from October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024. Absent action by the Trustees to continue the Pilot Program, Generic Copayments will again be imposed effective October 1, 2024.
You do not need to take any action to take advantage of this Pilot Program. The $0 copayment will be automatically applied to all generic drugs purchased between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024.
